A NOTE FROM ME TO YOU, READERS

 

I have used this space to showcase and reflect on some of my most cherished work from over the years. 

 

I think and hope you will hear my voice strongly throughout my writing. This is a portfolio of and about me -- my writing and my development.  My introspective work will cue you in to my self-reflection, both as a person and as a developing writer. I believe all people must take pause and reflect on who they are, what they have accomplished, and how they are a work in progress.  My creative work will expose you to my multi-angled thinking and my ability to tackle a variety of mediums and topics with care and finesse.  Here you will see that when I am given creative license, I often write about the category that is most important to me: my family. My opinionated work will reveal some of my more "academic" or professional prose, which bares my attention to detail, my research capabilities, and my knack for persuasion. And finally, my inquisitive work will showcase my Writing 420 Capstone Project, in which I explore the relationship between perceptions of the self and social media.
